I am sitting in a puddle

my office cubicle is flooded.. .so most of my carpet is wet. the roof is the problem, but the landlord can't fix it b/c it has to be approved by the town/city first and they still don't have a date on the calendar!!! we also have broken brick gravel for a parking lot STILL for the same reason!!! grr. freakin' red tape!!!

Several years ago, I got so tired of freezing in my office that I brought a blanket from home and wore it around my shoulder like a shawl. I walk with it around the office until the president asking me why I was doing that. He got the point and asked the office to be above 67 degres

that is awesome. i've done things like that at FIL's house...i am VERY thin so i get cold easily...so i have a whole army of thigns to wear over there that i've bought 'for when i'm freezing here' they now cut it up for me.

I had told them too I would wear grandma slippers too (with the fur inside!!) and walk with them with my suits.

not until the project is approved by the city....cause if they just do it and the city inspects it, they can decide (since it wasn't 'approved') that it has to be re-done AGAIN. grr. they're lucky i am not that anal.

Maybe you lay down some depends on the floor to absorb the water..
