Ok, so my neighbor IM's me today asking me if her new girlfriend is invited to the wedding. (She is a lesbian.) Now they've been dating for two weeks and I do not know this girl. So, I said no, we do not have the room, it's a small wedding, blah blah....Her whole family is invited so she will have people to sit with. So then she copies and pastes this conversation with her ex girlfriend who now is engaged and is having a party. This conversation is saying how she is asking her if her gf is invited to the e party and she said of course, she is a part of you, that would be so stupid if she wasn't invited....It was blatenly obvious that she made this conversation up to show me that she should be inviting to the wedding... Do I confront her about this? I was going to have her do a reading since I've known her since I was born, but this is just so childish and rude. What should I do? TIA

Re: I am so annoyed!
Just stand your ground. Everybody has different reasons for inviting whomever they want. They've been dating less than 1 month. FORGET ABOUT IT!!!!!!

I will, I am just so frustrated that someone would go to those lengths....lying and making up things to have her fling of the week invited. We've been friends for 22 years-my entire life, you think she would act like an adult. I guess some people are just immature....

That is so true
But I am happy to hear that you plan on standing your ground and not giving into your neighbor. I'm sorry she lied to you!!!

I would be annoyed that she made it a point to copy and paste someone else's words. How pushy and rude! I would stand firm!

I agree stand your ground as far as the invite but dont let it cause you not to have her do the reading because later when it blows over you dont want it to be something you regret.

I would just tell her again that it is a small wedding and you do not have the extra money or space.
