I AM SO EXCITED

I just found out that one of my OLDEST (and dearest) friends from London is definitely coming to my wedding!!! He & his GF are planning a trip to NYC just so they can come.

I sent him an invitation but didn't expect he would make it... I haven't seen him in over 7 years...

I went to school in London back in '95 and he was my best friend during that time... we stayed close throughout the years but I haven't been back to visit since my son was born... He's NEVER met my son...

I am just beside myself, I am so honored that he wants to be here with me on my day.

I just hope I can spend some TIME with him while he's here...

I had a similar RSVP recently. He's not travelling far, but I thought his coming would be a long shot, and he is! I'm so happy for you.

It means a lot to me partly b/c he holds such a HUGE spce in my heart, but also b/c we lost our other good friend nic right before christmas. He was sick for many years and died just shy of his 30th birthday... I haven't seen him in about 4 years prior. (He's also from the UK...) The three of us were best friends in uni, and stayed close afterwards... so it was a HUGE blow when nic died so suddenly...

YIPPEEEE!!! Good friends ROCK!!!! Not for nothing but I don't blame them, I think they're GUARANTEED a good time if your wedding is half as fun as your posts!!! You'll be able to make time for them, don't worry! And they'll be happy just to be a part of your day!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
