I am so excited and I just had to share!!!

I have not auditioned for anything in about 6 months because wedding planning took over my life. I just returned from my honeymoon on the 10th and was looking forward to slowly getting back into the auditioning scene. Well, I came home from work last night (actually morning) at 4am and there was a message from a friend asking me to come in and audition for a replacement in Miss Saigon at Westchester Broadway Theatre. I went to sleep at 4:30 woke up at 9am and called to find out where the auditions were going to be held. I went in today at 2:15 and found out at 3:30 that I am going in starting next week as 'Ellen' in Miss Saigon (if you have seen the show it is the main character Chris's wife). I am SO excited!!!!!!! I have just had the best 3 weeks of my life. First, I marry the man of my dreams, go on a great honeymoon and then come home to get a job ( at least for a few months) doing what I love!!! I can't wait to be on a stage again. Anyway, I just am so happy I needed to share. Thanks for listening.

that is just incredible - CONGRATS!!

I live in Westchester and I've gone to the Westchester Broadway Theater quite often over the year.. they do great productions! I definitely would love to see you in Miss Saigon (one of my fave shows when it was on Broadway!)

that's WONDERFUL!!! I absolutly love that show...and I love Ellen's part. My best friend and I would break up the parts and sing through the show and I would always want to be Ellen. I'm a singer as well...classically trained, what else have you done?
