I AM SO HAPPY!!!!
Well I just found out today in my Agency class at school that my invitation layout was picked out and will be printed and used for the Long Island Cancer Care Gala in March of next year.
Now i get to say on my resume
2006 BOLI - placed gold in student competition
Cancer Care is a client
And they may enter it into the boli prof. division!!!! Boli's for people who are not aware is BEST of long island advertisers and printers and marketing.. its big if you want to be a designer/advertiser on LI.
I have busted my butt working for a small print shop for 4 years ... trying to get my bach so that after next semester I am either going into the city to work or finding a good place on long island to work so i am not making 27k (this is when i was working full time) with no benefits ANYMORE!!!!!
Yippie... putting a crappy tiff or pdf on my gallery in a bit. can't wait to see what i am going to do for my invites in the following months..heheheheheh
