I used to shop there all the time....now I can't even afford their 'sale' stuff......and my income increased! Does anyone else find their stuff way expensive now?

The Editor pants ARE really well made. But I really haven't found that a lot of Express's other stuff is-- I've had shirts there that shrunk after being washed in cold water, and air dried. I felt really ripped off because those shirts were not cheap!!!

i love the editor pants..they hold up well..sadly mine are washed 2 to 3 times a week so they hold up

The clothes at the BR outlet are not the same as the clothes in the regular store. They make a separate cheaper line (sizes are cut the same, fabric isn't as good quality, etc.) that they sell at the outlets. The only things that are actually from BR are the few things you can find there that have a line across the label---and that usually means there was something wrong with it. Stinks, I know- but I asked.

huh, i never knew that. i love the outlet store, but agree that it is hit or miss.

But i think they are trying to becomre more 'fashion' forward then they used to be
Personally i go in the store and and see really NOTHING that i like anymore.
AND i agree with express...which i hated in the past..I got a long sleeve button down business like shirt and it was 85!

Yeah they all want to be so fashionable and charge designer prices. It just drives everyone to shop at the outlets.

AND it allows the designers to charge more for their stuff as well.

It is so ridiculous. I have been lucky to find stuff I like at the outlets. Which reminds me I have to go to Ann Taylor Loft soon. Maybe I will go tomorrow if I have time.

there is a gret ann taylor outlet in the poconos - i love it and go two or three times a year!

I love BR b/c of their pants..they fit a fuller figured woman (read: with a booty). A lot of other designers I like make pants for women with european figures (read: long legs and small but) hehehe
I use to be a clothes horse and shopped them when they had BIG sales...so I got a lot of work clothes, pants and stuff for like $19.99 and stocked up.
It's a good thing their prices are so high - I can't shop anymore so it's keeping me away! There sales online aren't so great anymore.
