I am so NERVOUS!!!

I think my shower is next Saturday!! I hate being surprised. I hate walking into a room and people are screaming at me. I am nervous. I don't like being the center of attention. What am I supposed to do. Do I walk around and say hello to everyone as soon as I get in there? What are you supposed to do at your shower?????? I am a control freak and not having any control over this is killing me.

Oh and I peeked at my registry yesterday. OMG they are bare. So much disappeared yesterday. Yikes!!! It all feels so real!!!

if it is next week, try to relax and let it all happen....

Boop...I'm nervous too! I think my shower is the following week. I'm not 100% sure but I think it is...and I'm a control freak too and not having any say in this is driving me up a wall!!!

I think that what you should do is when you get in there, walk around and say hello to everyone and then it will all fall into place from there.

If you do get nervous - it will last maybe 5 minutes then you will be having soo much fun you will forget all about it !

I hear ya! I had mine 2 weeks ago & I hate being surprised too, hate being the center of attention. As soon as I got there, I thanked my mom and bridal party & FMIL, then I walked around to all the tables immediately & said hello to everyone. From there, my bm's were sort of directing me & telling me where to sit, getting me drinks, telling me when to open my gifts, etc. It was fun but I'm glad it's over! I'm sure you will enjoy yours! How great is it to register for things & then open up gifts that you know you're going to like b/c you picked them out!

Just smile alot and yes you can greet everyone pretty much right away - once you do that everyone can eat. And it's OK to be the center of attention!!!!
