I am so PO!!!!!!
I went to David's Bridal today for my second fitting. I know I should have known better then to go back there after the nightmares I have heard from several brides on here, but I thought I would give them a try anyway.
The alterations were absolutely disgusting. A blind person (no offense to blind people) could have done a much better job. The dress needed to be taken in in the bust, well she took it in so wrong that when I tried on the dress there were these 2 things sticking out from the side of the bust. I argued with this lady for 20 minutes because she insisted that it was because my breast are too big.....UGHH!!!!!! She just wouldn't listen. I even asked her to slip her hand in the dress and feel for herself that there was space between my breast and the part of the dress that was just sticking out. Her solution was for me to buy a bra my size.
My dress is a halter so the halter part had to be altered as well. It was still too big. She did measure it the last time I was there and she still got it wrong. I really hate them now and its too late!!!!!!!
So my dress is still there b/c they need to fix the halter part. I get it back next week and I am going to look for a real seamstress who can undo what David's has done to my beautiful dress.
I didn't even take any pictures of my dress to show you guys b/c I just wanted to get out of there before I smacked the seamstress for arguing with me.![]()
