I am sooo confused about what kind of veil to get!

I don't know what I want to do I don't want to over power me...but I would love a 2 tier and a cathedral...

Now I am thinking about whether I should get a 1 tier and a detachable blusher instead of the 2 tier

i'm right there with you! i don't know if i want cathedral or fingertip...lace...beading...blusher or no blusher! maybe i'll just get one 'on a stick'!

Why don't you go try both on and see what you love when its actually on you? A Cathedral veil is beautiful, but wouldn't be for me. I think you should go with whatever you love. If you have always wanted a cathedral, then you should go for it.

Kathleen what does your dress look like?? Not only don't you want a veil to overpower you, you don't want it to detract from your dress.

I always try to make my life as easy as possible, and I actually selected the first veil that I tried on! Fingertip and pretty basic!!!

I did not pick a veil until I had the dress on. It helps a lot on deciding. Length, fullness, edging, crystals, rhinestones, etc.

I PUT ALL DIFERNT VEILS ON MY HEAD WITHT HE DRESS AND I SAW WHICH LOOKED THE NICEST TRY THAT

Actually this is what I am doing. I found the veil I wanted at the bridal store. I went to barron's. I told them exactly how the veil would be. Ivory (in the right shade), elbow length (nice button detail on the back of dress so we don't want the veil to cover it), scattered rhinestone. I even know the size of them and how many. Yes, I am a maniac to detail. But I loved the veil so much that I wanted to be able to replicate it. In the end, they would be only $10 cheaper.

So, now I can go to either places. But if I go to the bridal shop I will ask for the $10 discount.

It is a drop veil and I it!

It is not puffy at all because I didnt want that.

Kathleen... I think with your dress you dont want **too** much going on with the veil. I would say dont get a ton of tiers.

OK try to picture this cause it is hard to explain.,.

Its a hude round circle.. there are no combs or anything in it when you get it. Then.. you can 'drop' it stright down on your head and mpve it back and forth until the front (blusher) and the back are the length you want. You are supposed to attach it with a pin.. but that aint happeneing...so my mom sewed a comb in it.. should have done a stick though. THere are tons of pics in my album

If we see each other soon Ill bring it for you to try on.

In this pic the back is to the end of my butt...but I could pull the blusher down and make it even all around.. get it?
