I am soooo annoyed!!!!!

I went to Kiddie Kandids in the BRU in Bohemia. I called ahead and asked if I needed an appt. they said they only do walk in's. I ask about the wait and they say there is none. Ok, so I bundle up Damien and by the time we get there(which was at 1pm) they tell me oh we don't have an opening till 3:30 I was like well why the hell don't you take appt.? She was like we only do walk-ins except for Christmas time. With this friggin grin on her face that I just wanted to smack off She was like well can you come back and I'll put you on the list. Why the hell couldn't you put me on the damn list when I called ???!!!! I'm tell her umm no I live in Shoreham it isn't a hop, skip and a jump away!!! Arghhh I'm so pissed!!!!

What a jerk! I would be annoyed too.
Something similar happened to us when we went to register. We waited on line and the girl said she was busy and we should walk around for 1/2 hour. So we did and then went back up 1/2 hour later, then we got this other girl who said she will put us on the list of people waiting. Meanwhile if the first girl would have done that, we wouldn't have had to wait behind all these other people who were now ahead of us.GRRRR!!!!!!!

Same kind of thing happened to me. I walked in with Ryan in a great mood - well fed, well rested, etc. The girl tells me she needs 40 minutes to finish up with the person she's with. Well after 1 hour she was ready for us and sure enough Ryan was tired, and cranky and in NO mood for that damn feather duster she kept shoving in his face. Of course we ended up with portraits that weren't so great since he was half crying the whole time. Appointments would make things sooooo much easier with them...

They did the same thing to me.. I endded up taking Alex to the K-mart on 83 by the expressway... There is Olan Mills in there, and my aunt recommended it... I LOVE the pics from there.. I can post them again if you'd like... They do an awesome job.. they have a baby club, and if you stick to the specials anbd promos you can walk away for as little as 3.95!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really prefer The Picture People for this reason....you book your appt, they ask that you arrive 15 min. prior to your scheduled time, and they are cheaper than most 'studios' b/c they often have coupons for a free sitting and free portrait (either 8x10 or 10x13). I have been very pleased with the photos I've gotten of Paul there...we went for Halloween and Valentine's Day so far.

I have to second the picture people! They are usually on time and have awesome props! My bf works at a JCPenney portrait studio and I like them too! Their baby valentine's shots in a bed of roses is adorable
