OMG...my future mother in-law is driving me crazy!!!! she is making this process soooo stressful....what can i do without being rude or disrespectful?

WHAT? no congrats yet? LOL...well she basically wants nothing to do with our wedding but she has interrupted our planning twice already...at major steps in the planning process.... i'm just soooo disappointed that i cant just be happy...it seems like right when i'm starting to get excited about it all she steps in and crushes it!!

My advice (I've been there) is to keep all of your wedding talk to an absolute minimum when it comes to sharing things with your FMIL. If she brings it up, be vague about your plans. Hopefully she'll back off a bit. There's going to be a few people who will not be jumping for joy through your wedding planning process, and that's the best way to deal with it.

This is EXCELLENT advice. I do this and sometimes, if I'm in the mood, I'll give her juuuuuust a little bit more info and she gets happy that I'm sharing some details with her.

This sounds like my FMIL...except she went as far as to send me her condolences!!! (It was a joke...I think )
But yeah I offered to show her wedding things like my dress and the hall and stuff and she told me not just that moment coz she was busy (she was clipping coupons... )
To the OP...I'd say just ignore her. FMIL drives me up a wall but I never say anything to her.

Even though my FMIL is terrible...I love my F-Step-MIL and my F-ex-step-MIL (FH's ex-step mom)...sounds like we got some crazy Jerry Springer stuff when I spell it all out like that!

So its 3:52pm about to leave work and i'm still stressed out about my situation with my FMIL...now she's trying to delay our wedding all together! I think she cant imagine her life once her 'boy' is out the house!! She relies on him sooo much.....
i'm going for a run, take a long shower and then going to bed! hopefully the F train gets me home before any rain!!

You will learn how to deal with your FMIL. If she suggests something you're not into, just tell her you'll put it into consideration or look into it to end the conversation.
Pick your battles, you don't want to create more drama because then you will really lose your mind.
