i am soooo upset <<UPDATE>>

well i just got a call from the owner of the hair salon.. the girl that is supposed to do my hair will be out for a month i got a trial from her and everything.. i cant believe this!! what the heck am i gonna do .. the owner set me up an appt with another girl.. i just cant afford another trial.. i guess i have no choice but to take the risk.

i am just sitting here crying at my desk.. my wedding is less than a month away


UPDATE....

ok i just called back up and she said she would pay for it herself .. (she is the owner) so i am getting a free trial by the girl this friday.. the only thing is .. its during the day.. sooo i have to tell my boss. ughhh

Totally agree!!! They should give you a FREE trial as it is not your fault it is theirs!!!! I would demand a FREE trial from this lady or tell them you will take your business elsewhere.

hell no.....call back and tell them you want a free trial. Say you paid for a service that you can no longer get since the girl you wanted wont be able now! Im sure they can work with you....get the owner on the phone

NO, don't do that! Take it from me...I had a hair trial, liked it & booked her, then called and said I didn't like it anymore. She told me not to waste my money in doing another trial and so I agreed. We played around a bit the day of and it made us run late and made the WHOLE day late! It was RUSH RUSH RUSH ALL DAY LONG! I missed my entire cocktail hour too....

I would tell them that you don't have time the mornign of to have it done 5 different times and you want to know exactly how you want it and what you are getting. Tell them you are anal!

I completely agree! Anything can happen the day of the wedding to make you run late - and if you're possibly having your hair redone a couple of times you can be REALLY late.

They have to give you another trial - for free - because you paid for a trial and booked someone who is now no longer available. That's THEIR bad. So new trial. FOR FREE.

OK just read the update, tell her you have a tight schedule and that is why you PAID for a trial in the first place, either new free trial or no business, Hope it works out for you hun, let us know what happens!

i just cant believe this.. i was not expecting this to happen... she wont give me a free trial..she just said she was really sorry...

but i do trust the other girls.to do my hair. . so basically im in a bad spot. if i take my business elsewhere i would definetly get a trial and pay more.. im soooooo confused..

Deanna, that stinks! I am so sorry you have to go through this

I would speak to the salon owner and explain calmly that you cannot afford another hair trial and state that you already paid and were very happy with the one that you had and you should not be charged twice.

AAAA, it could be worse! You will look beautiful!!! Try not to stress over it. LIke you said you know they will do a great job so just leave it at that.
