I am soooooooooPissed off!

One of my friends is involved in an abusive relationship. The guy is a crackhead who has gone thru her bank accounts and ruined her relationship with all her friends and family. Now she is out of work because he calls all her jobs and tells them what a ***** she is and how she did this and that to him until they fire her. My fear is that now he has her hooked on it.

Well now she just called and asked me for $150. to get her car out of the shop before morning????? ***........what shop is open now? Not to mention that I live in Bellmore and she is in Patchogue so it is 1/2 hour each way. Does she think I am stupid? How could such a pretty, smart, nice person get involved with such a loser. This animal was seeing her off and on for 10 years during which time he had 2 children with 2 other women. My friend has been living with him for 3 years now (no kids). He still tortures her about HER PAST as though he doesnt have one!



I HATE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just try and be as best of a friend you can be. I am sure this is painful for you to witness, but you have to be strong and when she realizes her mistake just be their for her with open arms.

I'm so sorry I wish I had some good advice for you but all I can do is give hugs for this one

My best friend did the same thing. She got involved with a guy who got her into drugs, pot, cocaine, ectasy, and whatever else. They used to spend their vacation in a hotel room in Montauk snorting coke. Nice, huh?

It changed her into a completely different person. She will defend him to the ends of the earth, while her relationships with the people who truly care about her crumble away.

My friend is also smart, and very pretty, like your friend. I have NO idea what the heck she's thinking. In my opinion, it comes down to self-esteem, and not having any. Why else would someone put up with that kind of life?

She doesn't want to be helped. She doesn't want advice because she doesn't want to face the truth about her life and her situation.

Don't give her the money.

It's hard to watch someone make such terrible choices, especially if it effects your friendship. Hopefully one day she'll snap out of it. But until then, there's really nothing you can do.

I know how it feels to lose someone to drugs. It HURTS.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. I think that you are doing the right thing by not giving her the money. If you do you are only enabling her to stay with him longer. This is an issue that she can only resolve on her own. Please still offer her your support and love. Maybe one day she will wise up and leave and then she will need all the friends she can get.

I am so sorry .. i would not give her the money... and you can tell her till you are blue in the face what a jerlk this guy is.. but i feel that some people will do anthing not to be alone...JMO...

and he has children with other women and she is still with him... I would give her the money to get her head examined....
