i am sort of regretting asking 2 of my bridesmaids to be part of our wedding.
and all of my other bridesmaids and my maid of honor have been so great with everything...But these 2 and one of our groomsmen just seem so disinterested. The wedding is 3 weeks away and one BM hasnt even picked up her dress yet or scheduled a fitting- Oh and hasn't even mentioned shoes!!!
What do I do? I'm tired of calling and hearing her tell me she'll pick it up the next day!

Why not say to her, 'if you don't pick up your dress tomorrow, I will have to cut you out of the bridal party.
Threats work sometimes.

It's a hard situation b/c they are obviously your friends, but maybe call them and if your not good w/ confrontation email them and start talking about all the last mintue wedding details and empasize how much you need their help and time- especially since they havent gone for a fitting! I would say if they don't go for a fitting by sat. they need to step down b/c the dress may not even be ready! sorry you have to be dealing with this right now!

I totally agree. Give them a deadline. I'm not good with confrontation at all, but maybe you should just ask them if they really want to be a part of your wedding.

Def give them a deadline. I know your pain, my 2 BM have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! They couldn't even get their act together to plan my bachelorette party!! I am soo disappointed and hurt, I wish I could kick them out, but they are both my SIL's..
Good luck! So sorry you have to go through this soo close to the wedding!

If they are too busy then should have politely declined to be in your wedding.
I had to decline once becuase I was in a wedding the weekend before and I felt it would not be fair to the bride.
I can't imagine how frustrating this must be for you.

i agree totally. boy, if i can do it all again. WHOA! anyway, what i was going to say is, at this point, youve called her already. just let it ride. if she doesnt have the dress, etc. she cant participate, so she may end up x-ing herself out!! then who really looks bad? not you!!!

I agree. I too, am not good with confrontation but you should just call or email and politely ask, 'are you interested in my wedding, cuz if not...' Good Luck and best wishes.
