I am starting to worry about my band...

This is one of those times that being an OOT bride really sucks. I booked my band months ago after finding them online and seeing their DVD. They are really talented and had good reviews here and on Theknot. HOWEVER, how did I know if they are STILL good or even still playing. I never read anything current about them anymore and no one here has booked them. IF they are supposed to be a PREMIERE wedding band as their site states don't you think even one bride would have heard about them or booked them. I only put down 1000 so far but need to make another payment in Jan. I will only be in NY for a few days over the Christmas holiday so I am not sure I can even meet with them. I really don't know how to proceed here.

I wonder if you can ask them for some current references. Someone on BHB recently posted a question and I think it's the same band, but she spelled it with a C.

Try alternate spellings -- i have seen Kameleon and Chameleon and cameleon as the other poster referenced.

Ok- I found that thread and I think its the same band. So funny that she posted today when I was getting worried that they even exist. I guess they do if her sister is meeting with them!

Yes, hopefully that is reassuring. I think I told her you were using them (if she was talking about the same band, but how many can there be called Kameleon, right?)

Are they going to have any showcases when you are going to be in NY or when someone you trust can go see them?
