I am STILL not feeling good!

Hey Kathleen, let me know what the dr. says. Ray had it since Sun w/ the running to the bathroom part & yesterday I felt nauseous, but then it hit me at 2am last night & I was up all night, camped out next to the bathroom, not fun.

I feel a little better now but my tummy is churning

There's a really nasty virus going around. I would honestly go to the doctor and he can put you on antibiotics to at least alleviate the nausea and pain.

Arggghh... sorry but I am going to get on my soapbox here BUT an antibiotic will do nothing for a VIRUS!!!!!!!!!!! Antibiotics only work on BACTERIAL infections!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Antibiotics will also do absolutely nothing for nausea or pain. The only thing an antibiotic will do if you don't have a bacterial infection is make bacteria more resistant to them!!

Ok I am getting off the soapbox now.

Kathleen, just take it easy. If it gets to be intolerable, go to the dr. and make sure its nothing more serious than a stomach bug.

Yes, anitibiotics will not cure a virus. But it can cure other underlying syptoms. Also, sometimes it may 'feel' like a virus but in fact be something else, like in my case.

Don't get me started....I had to take the day off from work because I was cramping, nauceous and lightheaded. And what happens after they tell me to stay home even though I told them I would try to come in?? I GET LET GO. She told me she was concerned about my health problems!! That there was nothing wrong with how I worked but they were concerned with if I would need time off left and right to handle the health problems I have. AUGH!!!

Excuse me while I go jump off the roof....I didn't need this right now!!!

What?!?! That totally stinks!! Is it because you just started there? Oh man, I am sorry, what a horrible thing for them to do! Is there anyway you can talk to them and tell them this is an isolated incident and you do not have health problems? Its just an unfortunate thing you got sick when you just started there, but its not like you did it on purpose!

I have gallstones and arthritis in both knees and they knew about this because one morning I was still in slight pain from a gallbladder attack going away, and my knees, well anyone who has met me can tell since I sometimes limp. I was planning on taking care of both problems after getting married because then health insurance would not be an issue.

She said once I get the problems resolved to give her a call, and they will try to bring me back in, but it's a real concern. Then the recruiter who got me the job there said the last person he sent there didn't last long either, so he's wondering if they're looking for some kind of perfect person that doesn't exist.

I should just go back to working in the city. I have never had problems like this with jobs like I've had here on Long Island. It's insane. I think I have had 5 or 6 jobs since moving out here a year and a half ago, and 3 of them were in financial difficulty, and 2 of them let me go for BS reasons that I technically could have fought (including this one.) The last one the boss was just a crazy wench, and everyone wants out of that company. (I still talk to the people there).

Thankfully, I am still getting calls on my resume, but what bothers me is I turned down an offer to take this job!!

It sounds to me like they are using your problems as an excuse so they don't look bad. I feel that some companies are totally looking for that perfect person. You know what, it's their loss. You're better off without them. You'll find something else.

Janna I'm soooo sorry. What a lame excuse. You don't need them, something better will come along. Please don't stress!!!!! REmember how many interviews you had & how many offers?
