When I first look around for my dress it was great... It was the one. But now its 6 months before the wedding and I am having second thoughts and now I am thinking of getting a less traditional style gown.. What to do... I am so confused.

Did you put a lot of money towards the dress you have now? If your dress came in already, you should go try it on and see how you feel about it once you have it on. Maybe if you try it on you'll fall completely in love with it again.

Is it in your budget to get a second dress? You can definitely get something less traditional for that!
If not, maybe go try on some more dresses? I thought I was set on a non-traditional dress, but they looked TERRIBLE on me. You might find the same.

i think its normal to have doubts esp since you havent seen the gown in awhile. Maybe you should go back and try your gown on just so you can make sure. You might remember exactly how much you loved it.

Keep the dress you have and then get a less traditional dress for the reception! Everyone's happy!

This helps out a little... maybe I will go in and try it on again... It has been a long time since I seen it in person.
I think its normal to have second thoughts. Go see it again you will probably fall in love all over again...

Re: I am stumped and need advice
This just happened to me. I actually had a more modern gown and then decided (with 6 months until the wedding) to get a more traditional gown. My bridal store was great and called the designer to put a hold on the dress production while I tried on new dresses. I am sooo glad I did this because I love my dress so much more now. I did lose $200 for a re-stocking fee. It was worth it for me though because I was really unhappy with my first dress.

wow... atleast you were able to get it changed... thats great. I try not to look at other dresses Its not all my fault... Watching WETV and just seeing how the Wedding industry has just grown.Gowns are displayed daily. I also started to feel as if I should wear something that makes me look more like an adult and not as much as a princess, if you know what I mean.
