So as it turns out, 2 of my aunts decided to go shopping this weekend for dresses for my wedding...thats all fine and dandy, but the kicker is the fact that 1 of my aunts decided to get a knee length cream colored dress.
Seeing as though my wedding dress is ivory...im slightly unnerved by this...especially since my aunts didnt know that its bad wedding etiquette for a guest to where anything close to white
My mom is offering to tell my aunt that she should find a different color dress, is that wrong? Have any of u been in a similar situation yet??

I haven't been in that situation yet but your mom should definitely tell her to find a new dress......

Let your mom talk to your aunt. But, just be prepared if your aunt doesn't want to look for a new dress. Don't let it ruin your day. You will still be the center of everyone's attention so don't worry about this minor detail!

Do you really think it will steal your thunder or make her look too important (like MOB or something)? Sure it's a little tacky on her end but is it really worth getting worked up over? Maybe ask her to accessorize with a nice scarf so she can play down the ivory.

not rude at all..i have no clue why. i mean i have my dress already and have had it for months, but its my wedding..
i guess maybe they were shopping, saw stuff they liked and impulsively bought them
