I am the Chauffer?

My folks flew into NY last night from AZ because we have a Bar Mitvah to atten tomorrow and Saturday.

So I went to MacArthur and got them. Fine. Their friends want to see them and they don't drive to anywhere but certain places (even though they drive down to FL each winter and can't make it to my hosue 7 miles away. My parents don't feel comfortable driving here at all. (???)

So now I have to drive them to their friends-and of course I have to say with them until they're ready.

Tomorrow we are taking my parents and my newphews to temple up in Harriman staying over so of course we need our overnight bags and garment bags for the Bar Mitzvah the next day. 6 of us in my car with bags. So my cousin suggests taking two cars. That's just great...let me and DH drive everyone up and not even be able to drive in the same car together.

My brother isn't going because he has nothing to wear (?????) He also doesn't have a drivers license..he is divorced from my nephews mother. My older nephew is 20 has a license but no insurance since he can't afford it. So he can't drive. Also he doesn't have a car.


I think I'll just stay home. Thanks for letting me vent.

Bleh, people really stink sometimes. Remember, you're a good person for doing this and it'll pay off in the end.
