If you don't like accounting look into insurance. I know my company is looking for someone with an accounting background for a structured trade position.

what are you thinking of getting into? I am going back to school in september for teaching. i have my BS in business and over the last 5 years discovered its not for me. i feel like im out of my mind for doing this and wedding planning at the same time, but i dont want to wait any longer before i start. it will be hard but FH has been super supportive. i dont know if teaching is something you would consider, but i would look into it if it sounds like something you might be interested in.

Awe sweets I know exactly what you mean.
I like my job in theory, but it is sooooo slow right now that I do nothing all day. May sound good to some, but I'm the type that likes to be busy. Sitting at my computer for 8 hours a day is torture.

i hear ya! I'm in promotional marketing but I want to get a masters in environmental engineering. Don't know if I'm up to being in school and dealing w planning etc right now though.

i hear you there! i sit all day too.. somedays are busier than others, but even though im makign a good salary i feel like im not doing anything. does that make sense. FH is an electrician and busts his bum all day. 6 days a week. i wish i could do overtime like he does. i feel like he is working so much harder than i am to pay for this wedding. we make about the same but he just seems to be doing more and it makes me feel guilty.

i hear ya. im going to night classes. so ill still be working 9-5. in fact my first semester ill be going to school on sundays. YUCK i know. but it just needs to be done.

ugh, same here. i'm really hoping things will pick up soon because i feel like i'm losing my mind. i need to be busy or else the day drags on and on and on and on....
