I am thinking of getting hair cut shorter

any suggestions on where to look on line for styles. I want it shorter, not real short, but short layers, length to about shoulders. Any suggestions or pictures would be great

me too!! I let it grow out for the wedding but afterwards I am cutting it again. I usually get it in a bob around chin length but this time I want it to be a little choppy at the ends - kind of like how Jennifer Love Hewitt's short hair was.....pics!!! I am having trouble finding a good site online...

I don't know what websites have different hairstyles. I just wanted to say that I got my hair cut a couple of weeks ago and went shorter. I like it except that I can't pull my hair back in a pony tail if I want to because its too short right now.

I went through this looking...and found that there aren't really any sites to look at...

what you need to do is find a celebrity you look like (you know when people mention that you look like this person in a certain picture or something) and then search pictures of them...


also you should talk to the hairdresser BEFORE you get your hair washed and ask them what they think...and tell them what your concerns are...

Sue - that is the only thing I am concerned with is not being able to just throw it up in a pony-tail. It's so easy and convenient to be able to do that. I just feel it's been long for a while and I just need a change.

You can have them cut it but just tell them that you want to be able to pull it into a pony tale if you want to. You can have the Jennifer Aniston style.(Thats long enough to still tie back.)
Thats what I had until I went a bit shorter. Now I want it to grow so I can pull it back again.

What I used to do b4 letting it grow out for the wedding, is I would cut in semi-short this time of year for the fall/winter and then let it grow out so next summer I can do pony tails and not have to bother with the blow dryer in summer, plust the humidity kills my hair

My problem is when its rainy or humid, my hair frizzes and looks awful. Now that its shorter, its even worse.

Sue, I think we have the same hair. It's been so long since I had it shorter, I forget if mine was worse when shorter. If I remember it was and that is why I always went shorter in fall/winter b/c not as humid

I have very fine wavy hair. I've blown my hair straight and gone out in the humidity and had it just curl up as if I had rollers in it.

I wish mine curled up that much, mine comes more like a bad body wave (remember the 80's )
People could never understand why I kept it longer in summer and shorter in winter (hello- humidity=frizzies)
