I am truly hopeless !!!!

I am truly hopeless !!!!

I cannot decide on a color for the bridal party. I need to decide by Monday(we are going for the measurements). I have narrowed it down to Bill Levkoff gowns for the girls. I am torn between black, euro red, euro wine and euro lilac. I wanted a BOLD color like the red, but I do not want my FG in a red dress or a partially red dress. I also do not want her in white/ivory. However, I think the Euro Lilac is too light of a color for my BM's because we want a bold color. I don't care that red or wine is not a 'summer' color. What color would you pick???

I think that if i had to choose between those colors, i would go with the euro wine. i think that the colors that would coordinate with that are a lot because it has red and blue undertones to it and your flowers could be creams, yellows, purple/blues, etc. I love the colors you have chosen!

I voted Wine. Not too fond of the pastels and think balck is too formal (unless of course you are aiming for that.)

What color are your flowers?

I am not sure of my flower colors yet. I was waiting until I chose the color of the BM dresses. I do want a pale pink and ivory rose bouquet for myself though.

What would I do with the FG then? Could I put her in pale pink or would that look weird???

If you are going w/ the Wine, I wouldn't have the FG in pale pick (JMO.) Why not ivory for her w/ a wine colored sash?

Just as an idea.. this is what my FG is wearing to match the euro champagne/euro black bm dresses..

It's an Ivory dress w/ Champagne sash..

I think that for the summer, with a tan all brides maid will look great in black. Strappy shoes and flowers could have the deep lilac in them. Very classy!!

If you go Euro red, you could put your FG in a bold OR a any shade of pink

What if you have BP in red, then FG in something softer, like pink, but still in the red family?

Re: I am truly hopeless !!!!

I'm hopeless, too, and am even worse- I know which dress I like (also Bill Levkoff) but am having a miserable time trying to decide btw colors!!! (It also doesn't help when your BMs are opionated.) I went so far as to cut and paste pictures from the web onto pictures inside the catering hall and outside.

Can anyone PLEASE help me (and teach2be) by sharing pictures of your bridal party or a friend's bridal party in these Bill Levkoff colors:

Euro Wine, Euro Eggplant, Euro Lilac and Euro Grey I think seeing pictures would help so much. THANKS!!!!

I say wine, b/c it iwll be easier to get a fg dress than red. Pink, dusty rose, campagne, all will look good, or an combination of those, if you can find a print, or a sash dress.

Euro Wine seems like a nice compromise. Its still bold without being too red. I like that color!

Re: I am truly hopeless !!!!

do you have a favorit color?

You can do anything bold. Black, wine, red can all be make bold with, B-Qs of all bright colored flowers.

I think lilac is a summer color, but I don't think you have to necessarily use a traditional summery, if flowers are bright. JMO

My BM's are wearing black and I didn't want the FG's to wear black OR white/ivory. We found dresses in a silver/grey color that I think complement the color scheme nicely. Think outside the box - I don't think you need to be so matchy...and I think anything goes these days. Red & black can definetly be worn ANY time of the year.
