I am trying not to be bridezilla BUT...

Last week I told my mom that FH and I were trying to brainstorm some family members to ask to do readings at the church. I told her we were probably going to ask my Aunt because she is the most religious in our family. Soooo what does my mom do yesterday? She tells my Aunt that we want her to do a reading. ! I am probably making a bigger deal than I should about it but I am a little p.o'ed that she did that! FH and I were going to formally ask those that we wanted to do readings.

ugh i would be upset to...she shouldnt have said anything to her. You can def still formally ask...i am sure she will really appreciate it!

I don't think you are being a bridezilla-i would be upset too...I don't know why these women can't zip their lips!! And then when we don't tell them stuff, they say we're being secretive...

I would be alittle upset to its your place to ask but I agree you can still formally ask her and she will probably appreicate it.

That stinks. It does sound like she's just really excited, though I do understand why you're upset.
I'd still formally ask your aunt to do it. Definitely.

u can get her a customized card 'asking' her.. it'll be a nice keepsake for her.

fh asked his best man 1 nite over beers. and i just got his 'will u by my best man?' card int he mail today lol

I'd be upset to. Honestly...its a pet peeve of mine when someone blows a surprise or butts into something they have no business being in... It is not Bridezilla-ish. Its a reason I never told my mom a thing...she couldn't keep a secret, no matter what. We dubbed her News Reporter of the family, and of the neighborhood.
