3 of my BM's have planned a bachelorette party (with my help and input). Basically after almost being forced by my cousin (another BM) they booked a party bus. Now people are backing out including the cousin who's idea this was. She said she might be sick (shes starting to get sick now). I am so angry at people backing at and now the girls will be stuck paying for this party bus!!!!!
I am so upset. Do the people who cancel still pay for their portion? I dont' want the rest of my girls to be stuck paying for them!!!!

That's kind of tough. The girls who aren't attending the BP shouldn't have to pay for the bus, but at the same time, the bus probably would not have been booked if they hadn't agreed in the first place. The one most in the wrong is the cousin, but if she's TRULY sick, how can you really blame her? Is there anyway you can cancel the partybus? Better to lose your deposit than to shell out even more cash for a less-than-full bus, I think.

Why don't you call the place where you booked the bus and see if you can downgrade to a limo or something else that would be less money...that way everyone wins out.

That is tough. Should they have to pay, Yes, because they agreed to it and it was booked. Will they pay, that is another story. It might cause some problems confronting them and asking them to pay. I am so sorry you have to deal with this at what should be a fun and happy time.

That is not cool, nor should it be something you should have to worry about. is there a MOH to deal with it??? Talk to your cousin, WHO THOUGHT OF IT, and tell her to deal with it between the girls. If it was about money, why did they agree to it.
No right for you to have to be involved!!!!!

Awww...that suc**! I would just tell whoever planned this bus, to call and cancel it. I would imagine that it would cost more money paying for the people who don't show, then losing money on your deposit.

We can cancel but it would cost $100, not that thats a big deal, but we all got our hopes up for this fun bus. We can't downgrade- this is the best deal he's giving us - cheaper than a limo! I know I shouldn't be involved but it's easier for me to talk to everyone than for them too- esp. I don't want them madat each other and that will cause me not to have a good time! aaargh! I need to learn to say f*ck it but I can't!!

What is wrong with people? I had one of my BM's front the money for 8 tickets to Cabaret and all the girls swore they were going. I got a casual email from my other BM that her friend (who invited herself) won't be coming to the show, but might hang out after. People are crazy! Did she really think it was okay to stick the other girl for a $100 ticket? The answer is YES! Thankfully, one of my girlfirends got a sitter and was able to come. But, bottom line, people can be so inconsiderate!

For my MOH's bachelorette party, 2 people backed out shortly before, 1 had never really agreed to go so she didnt pay but the other one who had been part of the entire planning process did chip in some money (she offered)
