when he decides. He said no because he can't see my dress!! I want to see!!!! My fear is, I will see him with a green tux from the 60s. I am pretty sure I will end up going with him anyway.

Not to worry Wanda ,my guy said the exact same thing. I did not go with him to pick it out. We are marrying such similar guys- I say this to you all the time.
He described it to me though. I am not worried- he has good taste.

mine too won't let me help. But when he goes to pick it out, I am sending him with SWATCHES of my dress (ivory) and the 2 girls colors

LOL, mine too! When we first got engaged he told me he wanted a white tux. I told him he would look like Captain Stubing from the Love Boat, so that ended that, thank goodness!!! I just gave him some guidelines - no tails, no top hat!!!
