I asked my BILs to walk me down the aisle today!
They were both so surprised and happy! It felt so good to ask them!![]()
Now we have to figure out who does which half- the grand entrance or the 'giving away' part.
I also came up with an idea- for an usher, I can ask my stepbrother's son, who is about 13 now. He's going to walk my mom down the aisle which makes her SO happy because that's the closest she can get to having my Dad with her.![]()
I'm also having his sister do a reading- haven't asked them yet, but I plan on calling their mom this week! I originally would have liked them both in my bridal party, but they live way out in Amagansett and I just didn't want to have them bother with the inconvenience of coming out here to do dress shopping/pay the money for the dress/etc....just hope they don't mind coming out for the rehearsal.
