I blew up at my mortage broker yesterday!

The man is a moron! I have to vent and need some hugs. As many of you know I am buying my sister out of her half of the home I grew up in... my parents have both passed away. So this is bittersweet for me. The first time we were there we were there for 4 hours and he was throwing #'s at us. So my lawyer tells him we are just doing a mortagae NOT a home equity loan. Well, the man sends me papers that are all wrong with home equity in the loan... then to make matters worse he tells me to call up the bank and tell them your parents are dead! Well, I had it then... I flipped out and told him he needed to do his job as the mortage man and to let the lawyer do his job with changing over the deed, title etc. He plays the game opf telephone and lets me know things my lawyer wants to know and switches it around. He also wanted to know the infprmation on my parents private stuff- mortgage etc, this another thing the lawyer will handle not him. I have had a migraine and cannot take any excedrin becuase we are TTC. I think i am never going to make it thru this process. I also told this man I am a person who has feelings etc . I then cried hysterical when I hung up the phone. HELP!

You'll make it through - is it to late to drop this guy and get someone else?

We deceided that if he acts up again we are demanding someone new to help us within the same company. We already locked in the rate.

Our broker F*d up our mortgage too. Unfortunately he could not correct it and still close on the date promised. So we went with it and plan to re-fi if the payments become too unmanageable.



I feel for you, some of them really are worse than the proverbial used car salesmen.
