I Booked My Hall!!!!
I am so excited......I booked my reception hall for December 6, 2006. FH and I chose the Marina Del Rey in the Bronx. For any of you who have not yet chosen a place, you can FM me and I'll tell you more if you're interested. They did a gorgeous renovation this year, the food is great and they have a great menu.
Funny Story -- When I first went there to look a several weeks ago, the date of August 5, 2006 was available. It would have been a nice date for us because it is also my parents' anniversary. I didn't book at that time because I still wanted to look around. I discussed the place and open dates available with my parents. My father told me last weekend that he called all of my relatives in Italy and told them that we booked our wedding for August 5th!!!! (My father definetely has selective hearing).
When I made my decision to book it, that date was already booked. So we decided on December and are excited to have a Winter/Christmas themed wedding.
Now I feel like I can see the finish line and have to do all the huffing and puffing now to get myself there!![]()
