I booked my HONEYMOON!

Ladies, I just need to share my excitement! I get SO nervous about spending money that I have been carefully researching my honeymoon possibilites for months! Today my FH and I finally booked a honeymoon to the Sandals Grande St. Lucian. We were going to go to the golf and spa resort, but got a better deal on this resort because it just opened. It used to be a hyatt and it looks beautiful! I am so happy, (but still nervous about spending the money LOL)!!! Thanks for letting me share!

Wow congrats, I was thinking of looking into the new hotel too because of the deals but have been looking elsewhere for the time being, what kind of specials are they running if you dont mind me asking.

I dont think we got a 'special' but the rates were just lower for this property because it was new. I will say we are paying about 800 less at this resort than the other. (Could be more, if they run a special our travel agent is going to adjust the price). If you want more details send me a forum mail.

I will arrive Tuesday, April 15th around noon and return April 22nd around 5pm. I am thinking about extending it a day or two, I'm not sure yet. My travel agent is also keeping an eye out for specials for the swim-up lagoon pool room. Did you see that in the brochure? You can actually walk out of your room, down a few steps into a pool!
