I love my Passat got it in January, and it drives so nice and fast. But then again anything moves faster than my saturn.

I love my car!!! I LOVE the red and purple lights (secretly thats the reason I have the car). I have a 2001 'new Passat' just when they started to add the chrome to the outside. Did you get it with seat warmers? If you did you are going to be SOOOO happy! The sunroof is SO cool. The tiptronic is fun to play with!! Did you get a GLX or GLS??
The summer as long as you roll down the windows or keep the door open when its like 100 out then turn on the climate control the car cools down SOOO fast!! Just be careful when you wear shorts with the leather... sun and leather DONT MIX!!! The trunk space is AMAZING! Even the arm rest is cool! The rain sensor is SOOOO cool too... I feel like I could go on and on!!!

I only have 2 complains about the car...

1. When shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear the RPM really get up there and it takes what seems to be forever to get to 3rd gear... maybe its just me because the car I had before this was a 5.0 Mustang GT that always just got up and went.
2. you have to put in 93. With gas prices what they are... ouch in the pocketbook!!!

I got the GLS with the cold weather package..I have that in my bug now and i love it.. whats the tiptronic? Whats the rain sensor, I guess i didnt have a good salesman!@ LOL

I have an automatic, so I dont think i will have the shifting gears problem, and I am leasing so I will put regular in!

I am leasing mine also and I found I got better gas milage when I put a higher octane in... maybe its just my weird car.

The cold weather package has the heated seats and heated side mirrors???
Tiptronic is on the shifting knob... you can either drive automatic or standard without a clutch. Its pretty cool. Something to play with when you get bored or are going up a hill when you want to go back to 4th gear from 5th for an extra boost.

Where did you get the car from??

Mine is an automatic too well both but the shifting thing is when Im in automatic. Maybe its just my car, my year... I dont know maybe you wont see the same thing.
