I bought another dress today!

I can't believe what I did today ! It has been bothering me for a few months now that the gown I originally ordered last year isn't my 'dream gown'...I think it's beautiful but it isn't exactly how I imagined I would look on my wedding day....so while I was shopping for bridesmaids dresses my mom came across the gown that I describe as my 'dream gown' and we decided to try it on hoping it would look terrible and I would just forget about it....but it didnt, and I loved it...I actually started crying because i loved it and because now I dont know what to do....This dress is an Alvina Valenta and is triple the amount I paid for my other gown. I ordered it anyway but now my budget is way off. I don't know what to do with two dresses though...Should I wear my original dress for the ceremony and wear the other two the reception...Does anyone else have two dresses....how did you work that out?????

Maybe you could sell the 1st to another bride? On eBay or Craig's List? Or even on LIW???

would it be crazy if I actually wear both?

I don't know what the dresses look like, but I'm wearing two dresses. My gown I'll have most of the day about 6 hours. After cake cutting, I'm changing into a short dress. I would suggest if they're both gowns, don't wear them both. You can certainly sell one on Ebay or other auction sites. Best of luck!

my original gown is a ballgown and the second dress is a tight trumpet style gown, so they are completely different. My ceremony is @2pm and my reception is not until 7pm so I have plenty of time in between to change.

why not just wear your dream dress...and sell the other one. Do you have a picture.
