They were a BARGAIN! And thank God b/c I have 8 bridesmaids! They are regulary $43, but they on sale for $29 at Fortunoffs. Do you think I should get them something else? I was planning on HAVING to spend more ~ thanks!

Maybe something else small, a gift certificate for a manicure & pedicure? I personally would be happy with just that but maybe another small small gift to go with it?

JPS - I don;t even know if it was a 'sale', the sample was marked 29.00, but when they brought the actually Lenox boxes out, they were marked $43 - so I am sure you will be fine. Thanks for the confidence. And I think Iwill do just what Jennababy said - manicaures and pedicures - we'll go together a couple of days before the wedding. (My wedding is the day after Thanksgiving, so we will go on Wednesday - thanksJennababy!)

I think I may go buy those as well. I really love those jewelry boxes!
I will give those with my manicure/pedicure & 1 hour massage gift certificates and my MOH gets an extra--I bought her a small pair of diamond earrings.
I am happy now because Ihad no clue what else to get the girls. Thanks luvleyles also!! We make a good team!

All i have left to do is invitations, my veil, shoes, placecards (something different), go for the girls dresses, to go register, and little things. All the larger things are done...what about you?

Let's see....I have less than 4 months to go, and I have to:

get a veil and head piece
usher gifts
mother father gifts
write ceremony
rehearsal dinner plans
shoes
under garments
pick reader(s)
find hair and make-up person
finalize list
book hotel night for night before w/ MOH
pay for the whole thing
lose weight!

I am getting a two tier cathedral veil with a detachable catherdral train. I will leave the elbow length veil on all day and remove the cathedral part after the ceremony. I love them!!!

Your dress sounds veil sounds amazing - so does your dress! Do you have pics? I have a sweep train - let me know what you think about the veil. The lady in the pic seems to be wearing one. The invitation lady is all the way out in Coram, but she was great. Dazzle in Coram - probably too far though. Post pics! I need ideas of everything!

That is the nicest dress i have seen in a long time. Very pretty! Sleeves! I love it!!!
I think the cathedral veil would be simply stunning to such a beautiful dress!!!!!! Go for it!

Thanks so much! I think I will go for the cathedial - although I will wait to purchase one until I go see the dress when it comes in ~ in a few weeks.
