For the last 3 months I've walked around with a picture of the Romona dress (my avatar) and swore it was my dream dress. Well I finally got to try it on - and it did nothing for me.
My BM and I went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa - Michelle (usually works in Carle Place) helped me. She was so honest and really knows what flatters your figure. She asked me my budget and stayed in it! Even though I said I didn't want strapless she very kindly asked me to try one on....and it was 'THE ONE.' Marisa #582
FYI: for those looking for some bridal stores Lydia from Lillette's in Baldwin...absolutely amazing too!!!
Here's a picture, but I'm searching for a better one...this one doesn't do it justice.
Gorgeous.....it actually 'took my breathe away' when I saw the picture! I'm wearing a Marisa gown too!

It is very similar to a ramona style dress. It looks like silk faille, which is what she uses alot.

The same thing happened to me. I had a picture of a dress I was sure was the one but when I tried it on it did nothing for me! It seems like the dress you are least likely to like in pictures looks best on you! Congratulations! The dress is gorgeous

Thanks so much!! I never heard of Marisa dresses before. She has an amazing line and so affordable!!! For those who haven't found your dress yet - definitely check them out!
Dress shopping has been my favorite part so far. I'm actually sad its over and I'll never get to do it again. Anyone else feel that way?
