I bought my dress today!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO

I can't believe it. The search is over! I bought my wedding gown tonight.

I bought it at Princess Bridals in Farmingdale. Wonderful ladies --- ask for Gerilyn or Lynn. They have a huge selection too!

I got a Paloma Blanca a-line gown. It has beading and pearls on the bodice (front and back) from the neckline to the waist. The rest of the gown (skirt and train are plain). It has a tip of the shoulder neckline (kind of like off the shoulder, but the straps sit right at the tip of your shoulder bone). The dress is very elegant, very comfortable and gorgeous.

I'm so excited!

We sure have a lot in common, same name, same wedding date, and now both the same designer for our gowns! I got a paloma blanca gown too! Congratulations!

Does paloma have dresses for under 1k? Not sure if you just read my recent post, but I just got a big time blow off from Bridal reflections in Masapegua and I'm looking for a dress shop.

I also had a horrible experience at Bridal Reflections (the one in Carle Place) I bought my dress at Lynbrook Bridal. It is an Alfred Angelo and I got the dress, alterations, bussel, and my veil for under $1,000. I wasn't looking in a certain price range but every dress I tried on (which I picked without looking at prices) was under $1,000.

The lady I worked with, Antoinette was very nice and helpful. I went on a monday night and it was empty and made for a peaceful experience. I hear Tuesdays and Saturdays are a little nutty because that is when they do fittings but I am sure they will be helpful. Let me know if you have any questions

I know Bridal Reflections carries Paloma (I tried on a couple there), but I felt I got better service at Princess Bridals. The ladies were so helpful.

All the Paloma gowns I tried on were over $1K.
