Ok - so i hit up Barons and got my headpiece (small tiara) last night (i'll post pics as soon as i take them)
So heres my question:
How are you girls storing your headpiece? I didnt even think about it until my FSIL mentioned this. She was worried that it might tarnish like costume jewelery. The guy at Barons put it in a plastic bag and said to store it in there.
Normally i put a piece of chalk with my costume jewelery to keep it from tarnishing (i read to do that in some household hints book) -- so im guessing i'll do that with the headpiece.

it might tarnish in a few years but not by the time of your wedding, as long as your not storing it in the bathtub, lol. I also bought my headpiece from barons and I'm just leaving it in the box it came in, wrapped in the tissue paper.

Mine is also sitting in the box it came in, with the tissue paper.
Except for when my mom takes it out and tries it on. I'm not kidding, she does.

Im keeping it in the box as well i didnt even think that it would tarnish, Im sure it will be fine as long as its not in a damp place

hmmmmm I didn't even think of that!! Do i have to do something special to my veil? will it turn yellow??

The guy at Barrons wrapped and boxed it up, and told me to take it out and hang it about a month before the wedding to get the wrinkles out.

I was talking more about the headpiece not the veil part. I have my veil in a bag with some air holes to vent it. I think thats good enough to store it.
