i think he thinks im crazy lol, i probably got him so confused. FH is obsessed with staying at OMM and doesnt even want to hear about not staying there, even with the price
so i said to give me quotes for 7 days in madrid plus airfare, OMM is in barcelona but were booking that on our own since you dont leave a deposit when you book with the hotel and you only pay AFTER arrival. Also asked him for rates on 4-5 days in monaco. Depending on what rates he gives us we would do 6-7 days in barcelona and 4-5 days in monaco or 6 days in barcelona and about 6-7 days in madrid.

It seems that he's the one with restrictions!
HM was the most stressful part for me, so FH had to take over, thats when he found Tom. Don't stress Im sure Tom understands!

yeah fh said i made the decisions for the wedding so im letting him pick for the HM, unless i dont want to go to a place obviously i say no.
When he calls back i might just put FH on the phone. I told tom depending on quotes for each place, is how ill determine our honeymoon. So 3 locations but told him not to worry about hotel for one of the places bc we're doing that.
when he calls back if i dont know what to do i am handing the phone over to fh lol.
This is becoming a pain seriously. Fh and i have changed our minds quite a few times and even now dont know how to split the trip and how many days in each.

Can you split it evenly? Are you doing any excursions? For example FH and I split our HM into two weeks, the first week we chose to stay in Rome and do an excursion to Florence from there and then taking a train to our hotel in Venice staying there for 2 days. The second week we are staying in Positano (Almafi Coast) and are living vicariously.

I would let Fh talk to tom. I had the SAME problem with Dh when planning our HM, everything was wrong that I said to do, but then tom talked to him for like 15 minutes and everything was booked lol.. its defiantly worth a shot!

well i talked to fh now, he came up with what to do lol well sort of. But yeah i am gonna hear the quotes and if i am confused as soon as he tells me i am handing the phone to FH.

I haven't worked with Tom but I hear great great reviews about him that he's really patient and helpful. I'm sure if you just explain your situation to him and that you'd like to know your options he would be happy to help. You could always put him on speaker so you both could talk. I also like to write things down on paper and scribble notes while I'm on the phone. Good luck! You'll get it all figured out!

That is exactly how I felt when FH wanted to take away Venice from the HM! It ended up that we had the extra days and it wasn't much of a $ difference since we had our flights already booked.
I agree on the one country for the HM, we were so set on going to Italy and Spain from the beginning of our engagement. We briefly tip-toed around Tahiti, but that didn't go over well because FH can't sit still!
We are (crossing my fingers) hoping to be able to spend our One Year Anniversary in Spain.
I think that once you agree upon what cities are a must and you get ideas from Tom it will be easier to decide upon. We are anxious to see Barcelona, Madrid, and Mallorca(-FH has family there) Hope that helps!

well fh had called someone for quotes and well i wont get into that. But when we got home i was trying to think of what to do and then tom popped into my head, looked up his number and dialed right away. Our situation was like 3-4 different ideas lol, i hope in the end he understood what i was trying to do...I am getting quotes for each place and then by quotes picking which places to combine hahahaha. Oh yeah i do the same when im on the phone and wrote down a bunch of things while i talked to him.

its funny bc when i mentioned all the places, tom was like OK do you realize what the budget for that would be? it was in the 5 figures but i had to say NO i will only pick 2 places out of the choices not all of them hahahahaha, depending on the two best rates

Tom is great...very patient and knowledgable. He will go through things as many times as you need to get you the honeymoon you will both love I am sure. Throughout my whole process he always said if there was anything we needed to please call him (including while we were there), so I'm sure you have anything to worry about, you are in good hands!

well 5 figures was bc of multiple places, more than 2 but thats bc i want to get a rate for each section and then decide between 2 out of all the choices, definitely NOT all of them hahahahaha.

hahaha so true. We have the rest of our lives to see all these places.
Fh actually just told me why he doesnt want to go to italy and i think its sweet now i feel bad for bothering him about it. But he wants us to go one year with his parents, he wants to go visit his dads old hometown with his dad and share that with him. Once he said that i dropped it right away
