I cannot believe some people!

You can really say that this has been a weekend of disappointment and frustration for me. Remember the uncle who convenienty had a trip planned for the weekend of May 6?

My MOH sister who lives in CA told me that I won't be surprised about my shower because it will be the week of her spring break in March, which is fine by me. I told my bridesmaid best friend, and she asked what week because she's planning a trip. Throughout the day I learned that her trip is planned between April 29-May 10!!! She insisted that this is after May 6th. Btw this is all through texts, and I left her two voicemails to CALL me especially after her casual response of 'Hmmmm.....this might be a minor issue.' Minor issue? Just to make sure, I asked her if this was a joke, to which she replied it was not. Even if she manages to change the date, it's still a blatant disregard for me and the importance of my day. I cried all last night over this.

Is this for real?

As of this morning, she said that her Dad was PLANNING on going with her those weeks, but that she can arrange to go at the end of May.

I really wished she had told me this last night instead of having me freak out.

As of this morning, she said that her Dad was PLANNING on going with her those weeks, but that she can arrange to go at the end of May.

I really wished she had told me this last night instead of having me freak out.

im sorry but she should have never mentioned anything at all.... shes making it sound like shes doing you the favor.

just annoying, people can be really rude without even knowing it

Yeah it's ok, I told her how upset it made me, and she said that everything will work out. She's the kind of person to say something and not realize its implications; probably thinking I KNEW she wouldn't make it that week.

She's telling her Dad that they have to go the end of May.

OMG i hope they do also, if they try to say anything to you, i'd bring it up to the manager and tell him your originally BM gave you the ok and thats what you are going by end of story.

Do not cry over stuff like this, remember to stay calm and remember what matters most, your FH and you....unfortunatly others will not put you first regardless of the stress and excitement of your big day.

It will all work out!!

So sorry you feel so dissed :( Just rest assured that things will work themselves out and you will have an amazing wedding day despite the hiccups (or even disappointments) that will happen in planning.
