I cannot believe that it is STILL....

RAINING!!!!!!!!!!!!

One day of persistent rain - fine...but two day's in a row? Jesus!

Now I'm reading it's going to continue through the weekend!!!!!

just something to think about...

my MOH is from Guatemala and he uncle called to tell her mom that his whole corn supply was wiped out in the floods. that is what they pretty much make everything from, so it's disastrous for them.

the rain is doing a lot worse tham ruining expensive shoes and flooding kitchens in places far less fortunate than NYC and the 'burbs.

a little prayer for them too

I kinda like it.

But I also do not work in Manhattan and have a short walk from my car to work. FH works in Manhattan and had to buy a pair of socks after he finally got to work from the train yesterday. He said he pants were soaked and he had 'swamp ***'. He took extra socks and pants today!

Oh my Goodness that is so sad...you know its true we often dont appreciate what we have and how fortunate we are...and of course a little prayer for all the people affected by these constant natural disasters...

I like this rain...gives me an opportunity to make excuses not to hit the gym and have cinnamon buns for breakfast

Sorry, girls! It's stopped raining here in MD, but it's still icky! I feel for you, though...I hate rain!

The rain is very depressing, the weather has that affect on our behavior which is another reason we all hate it so much!! After the drought this summer we really need the rain, but all at once like this is really detrimental.

Jess, I'm so sorry to hear about your MOH's uncle.
Sharene, sorry to hear about your car last night.

A little girl I know ask me if its going to be a fload like Noahs ark. LOL She is worried because she has three dogs.

It's not gonna stop us from going out tonight though!!!

I've been praying for all the people in New Orleans, I've added all the disaster areas as well with the earthquakes and floods. I definitely appreciate all we have and thank God for it.
