I went tonight to view and try on my gown. It looks beautiful and I am so pleased with it.
However, the flower girl dresses are going to look terrible next to my gown. The dresses are white and my gown is like an antique white (more ivory in color) The woman at the salon even said 'I hope you did not order white flower girl dresses'
Problem??? Yes, we have already picked up the flower girl dresses and had them in for 2 weeks!
My mother offered to pay for new dresses for the girls (they are FH nieces) but my FSIL's said no way. I feel bad though that they spent the money and may not be able to get it back.
What should I do?

Oh no...you should definately talk to the shop that you purchased the dresses from and see if there isn't something you can do. Maybe they will allow you to exchange or something. Good Luck!

Oh my... I know this may sound a bit odd, and keep in mind that I have no idea what the FG dresses look like, but, maybe you can include a light overlay for the FG's. A colored one to match the bridesmaids? If may throw off the difference between the white's. I agree with the thought that you will not be around the FG's to much.....It WILL be okay.

If you really want new ones & can't exchange them, how about selling the white ones.

I did the same thing. My dress was a candlelight white and the FG was a stark white.
I just didn;t worry about it at all--Wasn't worth it to me. You couldn't really tell in the pics. either--here are some, so you can see what it looked like:

How bad does it look? If it is not that bad, don't worry. But if it really bothers you, see if they can be exchanged.

Maybe you can add soe ivory roses to their dress to add some of your color into it or an ivory sash.

I don't think that's bad and after seeing the pics, it looks fine! Plus, I think little girls should be in white white regardless of your dress color - it's just more little girl-ish.
