I can't believe how a commerical can make you cry!

I just saw the cutest commercial from chase banking about a father who is seeing his daughter pick out her wedding gown, and watching her dance the 'first dance' with her new husband and all the while he keeps picturing her as a little girl doing all those things with him! it is just the cutest yet saddest moment...like bitter sweet! I wonder if dad's really feel that way on their daughter's wedding day!

My dad had every intention of saying a speech at my sister's reception but couldn't bring himself to do it when the time came. He was afraid he'd start to get teary-eyed in front of all the guests. I don't think my sis or I could have handled that - we would've been bawling

OMG I know what you mean, my uncle once gave a speech at my cousins sweet 16 and he started to get all chocked up and teary eyed and with that he had everyone started bawling!!

seems everything these days makes me cry!

I hate commercials, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE that one!!! I ran in to FH and started telling him about it and I was crying. He was like, 'What's wrong with you?' MEN!!

I know my dad is going to be like that. A couple years back I was sitting on my dad's lap and he was like, you know some day you won't sit on my lap anymore, you will sit on your husbands lap. At the time I was like, Dad, THat will never happen. He was teary eyed when he said it. BUt you know what, he was right. How sad.
