I can't believe how excited I am, we started on our new kitchen. Some more pictures added 3/21 The granite is in!!!

I hate our kitchen! Please excuse the mess i the before pictures. Here is how it started:

Another before

and yet another one

First thing we did was take down some cabinets on each side of the sink

then we took down the side counter

then we took out the wall oven and the cabinets above it and below it, plus the glass top and the cabinets under it

then I got to rip down some dry wall, that was fun!

then it was time to rip up some tile!

Boy am I tired!

Can't wait for next weekend when we finish ripping the cabinets, finishing ripping the walls down and start building new ones!

I am cheating...but wanted to put tewo before pictures then two after pictures to show what a hugeeee transformation this really was.

I am so amazed at that tranformation! It is simply gorgeous. You must be so proud that you and DH did it all yourselves too. The wine fridge is incredible! Wow is all I can say!

Thanks everyone and ty for the FM's as well.
This is a project you can do, just know that you need a LOT of time, a LOT of pattience and CAREFUL Planning! Measure once, Measure twice, helll I think we measured 10 times for some things. Do your research, know what you want and know what it costs.
We saved thousands on this project by doing it ourselves and so can you.

Damn, we never had that conversation! I just wanted the new look, I hope DH doesn't assume that I am going to cook now too!
