but I bought my wedding gown on Tuesday!!!! I'm shocked to say this because I totally dreaded searching for it and thought it was going to be so miserable because I wouldn't like anything, well lo and behold I did! lol

I had gone to about 3 salons on LI a few weeks ago with my mom and tried on what I thought I wanted, as Joanna refers to hers, a big white beast of a gown lol. Well I definitely loved some of the Eve of Milady gowns I tried, mostly ballgowns with a dropped waist. But when I looked back at my pics I felt like they took over me too much and thought maybe I should try something a little more fitted. So, I moved onto searching for a trumpet style gown because I still wanted a decently puffy skirt. Tuesday I had an appointment at Kleinfeld's and something told me to pack a check with me just in case lol. I am obsessed with the show Say Yes to the Dress and was just dying to see Randy lol. My consultant was Rosaria and she was a pro! I had seen a Michelle Roth gown on the website and was thrilled to see that my appoinment day was during her trunk show. This dress was the first I tried on and after going through at least 10 more I officially decided it was the one!!!! My aunt and mom loved it too, who are pretty critical regularly lol. In the midst of all this I actually met Michelle Roth who is just the sweetest woman and I couldn't see buying my wedding gown from any other designer after meeting her. She measured me and everything and even came in to show me how they can trim the lace to have the neckline follow the satin underneath into a sweetheart and she's adding an extra layer of crinoline to my skirt to make it puffier, no charge. I also met my wedding idol, Randy Fenoli and nearly fell on the floor lolol. It sounds silly but I was just soooo excited to meet him, he was great!!!!!!!!!!! I had the most amazing experience there and will NEVER forget it. Now I'm just miserable waiting a whole year to get my dress in . Without further ado, here it is, please picture it in diamond white, with a fuller skirt and just a slight sweetheart for the neckline. I have pics of me in it on my camera but can't find the stupid plug, ughhh. I was going to wait to post this until I could tell FILs but I want to tell them in person and just can't wait anymore. Hopefully no lurkers tell them before I can, PLEASE lol!!!!!!!!

Beautiful dress, Congrats!!!!!!!!!! And I LOVE RANDY FENOL!!!!!!! I was at Kleinfelds 3 weeks ago purchasing my gown and he was 1 of the many people helping me, I absolutely fell in love with him and told him that I wish I could take him home hahaha, he just has such amazing style and taste!! Love him Soo happy that you had a great experience as well. Congrats again!!
