I can't believe they just did this.

I just called my dealer, Sovereign Volkswagen in Hicksville, and was told that they are no longer open for service on Saturdays!!

This completely scr*ws me. We only have one car, I have to get my oil changed every other month (we drive a lot), and I can't depend on co-workers or family to pick me up/drop me off!

Which means taking time off of work every other month to sit in the freakin dealership for God knows how long, every time. They take forever with this stuff. I've sat there for no less than 1 hour, sometimes 2 hours, even if I'm the first person in.

And to boot, I just applied for a VW credit card that gives me VW points that I could use for service. I guess I can kiss that goodbye, since I have to find another service place.

Can someone PLEASE recommend a completely trustworthy place to get oil changes done in Nassau?

I absolutely will never go back to Jiffy Lube, I've had bad experiences there and don't trust them any longer. And I can't stand the BS crap they try to sell you.

I feel your pain. I abhor VW's service center in Smithtown, so I never go. Jiffy Lube either refuses to touch my car or once they did and they messed it up, and i Had to take it to VW to be fixed

I have no help though - I just bring it to a random mechanic in Smithtown near where I work, but i sympathize

There's this place in Syosset we use, Ferrari's. It's a Citgo station with a 'garage' as well on Jackson Avenue before the train station. They are CRAZY busy all the time. We've never had a single problem and if you ask, it's possible they will drive you to work, drive back, do your oil change and pick you up at lunch/5. FM and I'll give you more info....they do this sort of thing for us and my MIL all the time.
