The umbrella on my porch table just blew off, shattering my glass table into a million pieces all over my deck. The umbrella almost took the window out of my house too, but thankfully I caught it in time. Meanwhile, I'm selling my house ... someone could want to come see it at any minute ... and we have no money to replace it because we're saving for a new house and i'm unemployed.

I am glad you are ok and that there was no damage to the house. I think any buyer would be completely understanding of the table that was broken plus it's not like they are buying it.

We looked at a house the day after a really bad storm. The owners, who were out of town, were unaware that the aluminum tool shed in the backyard had been lifted off of its foundation and smashed into the house. Along the way it took out a beautiful flowerbed and the neighbor's fence. The stuff inside the shed was now strewn all over the back yard.
We wound up buying the house that day.
So sorry about your table, but potential buyers won't let that affect their decision.
