So sorry you are going through this. Is she married already? If she's not maybe she feels as though he should walk her down the aisle first. Im not justifying that train of thought, I'm just putting it out there. But, if you step-dad is cool with walking you down regardless of how his daughter feels than I think thats great and you should try not to let her stress you out.

i am so sorry!!! it is very sad. Are you and his daughter at all close??? i think it's really nice to have your step dad walk you down the aisle and i'm sure he's honored to do it!!! Maybe she will come around!!

Well then it seems like she just has issues with her father being a 'father-figure' to someone other than her. Like I said before, if your step-dad doesnt mind that her feathers are in a ruffle and he is still gonna do it then don't worry about her. But maybe you should speak to your stepdad and see if he can reason with her or maybe you can speak to her and just tell her how important her dad is to you.

UGH what a life sucker!! my mom remarried about 9 years ago.. and im very close with my step dad.. although im having my dad walk me down the aisle .. im going to do something special for my step dad too.. and my step bro (who is 17) couldnt be happier .. he is so excited to come to the wedding.. and be a part of it
