I can't believe we did it!
We got married! So awesome!! Had such a great time and everything went smoother then I could imagine. All this anal retentive planning really does pay off??!!
Anybody using The Metropolitan, Code Blue or Glenmar you have nothing to worry about...they all rocked! I could not have gotten more compliments on the food and the band & in my humble opinion..those make the party. And added bonus, they were all so nice to work with through the whole process.
I've yet to see the proofs but Anna was super sweet and stayed til nearly the end...
And while this is probably as close to a review as I will ever get....
I was seriously worried about M & V because of all the bad reviews but everything went smooth and the driver was great.
Invitations & Beyond for invites, Jessica was awesome and they showed that they will go above and beyond for you. I really panicked with some last minute stuff and she acted like it was no big deal, so nice to work with!
I was pretty unhappy with my flowers but what can you do at that point. They were definitely not what was ordered but I still got a lot of compliments...When you say repeatedly you do not care for roses you don't expect everything to show up 75% roses...guess that got lost in translation.
Oh and are you supposed to tip the entire floral staff as I was lead to believe?? I thought it was just the delievery...I was actually told not to tip him in cash so he would be forced to go back and share with the staff??? Um, isn't that what you pay them for?? What did I just pay for? Just wish I didn't spend so much on the end product... It's the one thing I would have changed.
Oh and Hawaii is killer, be prepared you will gain at least 5 pounds! Not so great when the water is so crystal clear you can see 30 feet down but hey..you get over it when step in to the 70 degree water and look past your big white thighs & can see 30 feet down! :) When can we go back?
We did Maui & Kauai and given the chance would definitely love to get back to Kauai one day, so much more laid back & relaxing...but both were great.
Am now staring at my 72 pound bag (yes I got charged extra!) and not looking forward to the unpacking and laundry to come...
Would rather put back on my wedding dress and prance around...
