I can't decide

I can't decide

I feel Like I've been everywhere. I can't find a hall that I like. I feel like I am running out of time. I am going to look at Vineyard Caterers. Does anyone have anything to say about them?

I've never been there...but FSIL got married there about three years ago...FH said he loved it...the food was great, they got married there and he said that the ceremony outside was very romnatic (they had it at sunset)...

You are getting married the day after me :)

The place is really pretty and i've heard wonderful things about the food. Have you thought about Giorgio's? It's out on the north fork, 5 minutes away from Eastwinds off of Sound Ave. I just sent you an FM with some info.

Good Luck!

WOW thats alot of places.
Try Chateau La Mer. I am alittle biast but it is a very nice place, you can have the ceremony inside or outside and both are very nice, And the food is very good.

What kind of hall are you looking for? Are you looking for someplace that has less of a catering hall fee -cozy and stuff, or someplace that is very upscale and elegant, like with lots of chandeliers?

I second Hamlet Willow Creek!!! They will even mail you a dvd so you dont have to make the trip out there to look unless you like the dvd!

Re: I can't decide

we're having our ceremony and reception at the Vineyards. I saw Hamlet Willow Creek and then Vineyards....so...I say go for Vineyards. (But of course I would!)

We met w/Barbara and weren't impressed. Too Country Club for our taste. The only good thing was the pre-opening prices. We wanted a cozy, warm feeling. So, we went with the vineyards. If you meet with Bill, he is great.

Re: I can't decide

we went to my cousins wedding 2 years ago at the vineyard caterers and it was beautiful. the place is huge and gorgeous and there was more food at the ch then anywhere else i'd ever seen.

also check out stewart manor cc - i'm biased. but its very pretty and very affordable.

whatever you choose, good luck

Re: I can't decide

I am looking for a place that has an outside cocktail. I also would like the cocktail area opened for my guest to come in and out. There are a lot of smokers in my FH family.
I liked Vineyard b/c they had a beautiful inside for a ceremony just in case it rained.

Re: I can't decide

One of my closest friends got married at Vineyard in September of '03. It was an amazing wedding (I was a bridesmaid). She had her ceremony outside in the gazebo and the cocktail hour and ballroom were both so pretty and the food was amazing. I highly recommend it. I would have had my wedding there but I didn't want to go that far out east because I have alot of guests from Jersey and Queens.

Chateau La Mer is also great (but I am biased!)
