I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant!! Roland and I had decided that we were ready to start our family so I went off the pill in December. We weren't really trying but we weren't preventing it at this point anymore. Well I took two home tests this weekend and they were both positive!! I called my Dr. and I have an appointment to see her on Monday! I'm kind of nervous about the whole thing but very excited. I just can't wait to get it confirmed by my Dr.

This is great news!!!! If both tests were BFP (Big Fat Positive), a epregnancy.com phrase, then I am sure you are. This is great.

Oh my gosh Michelle, I am SO HAPPY for you!!! Please let us know what the doctor says. My friend is pregnant too, due at the end of September, begin of October and it happened just the same way, they were trying in December but didn't think it would happen that fast.

Thanks everyone! I think Roland and I are still somewhat in shock. We are both very excited and happy but I don't think it will seem real until I hear it from my Dr. Roland told his mom the other day but we are going to wait to tell the rest of our immediate family (parents and brothers) until after we get the results from the Dr. Then I guess we will start to tell the rest of our family and friends after i reach the three month mark.
I read the what not to eat thread is there anything I should know or should be doing now to help prepaire myself??

Are you taking your prenatal vitamins? Also, you should start reading up on what happens to your body during pregnancy and start considering all of the birthing opitions. And smile- you are going to be a Mommy
