I've had this nagging cough for almost a week - it feels like there's a gurgling in my lungs or bubbles popping and it makes me cough like every 30 seconds. I'm sure my officemate is ready to punch me in the face by now....
As if we didn't know it was the most amazing substance known to mankind, apparently chocolate also contains an anti-cough ingredient.

Sorry to hear I have a similar thing, but mine only started last Thurs/Fri. Throat is awful, severe congestion, coughing nonstop, and even had complete laryngitis on Sun (DH was in his glory) . Today its the headache that's killin me

Chocolate cough medicine? I bet kids around the world will be laughing with glee about that! I took Robitussin the other night and had to do a water shooter afterwards. I hate that taste - blech!

I swear by NyQuil - really does let you get a good night's sleep, which helps so much when you're sick. Probably the fact that it's about 80 proof doesn't hurt either

Go to the doctor! what take for coughs is Rubitussin Dm and it works.I hope you feel better.

be careful. i had pneumonia last year and it got so bad that my chest gurgled when i would breathe deeply and it was loud enough that people could hear it.

I had this a year ago and it was 1 step away from pneumonia. I also had a sinus infection at the same time with it. get to the doctor ASAP! I am getting over a sinus infection, I also had no voice for about 4 days- DH was in his glory too!!! The antibiotics are making me so nauseous!

be careful I ended up cracking a rib from to much coughing. I couldnt figure out why I was in so much pain and neither could the doctor. I went for an MRI and we saw it. They found other problems but my side was killing me everyime I turned around. Just be careful

I've also had a nagging cough since last Thursday!! The worst part is, I totally need a good nite of sleep, but the coughing wakes me (and FH) up every couple of hours...
