awww celia.... honestly i think when it starts to get close we all think of what a big step it is and it can be scary.... i am sure that is all it is. give him time! i am sure it will be just fine!

You are definitely not alone....me and FH have been arguing alot more since we got engaged...we got into a big arguement recently and we havent seen eachother in a few days...trying to cool things down and get our thoughts together so when we do talk about the situation it wont be out of anger.

i think its a combo of being stressed with wedding planning, coming to the realization that this is real...(being married is a big step even when you know that's who you want to be married to) and i think the longer you're with someone the more the 'flaws' show...in the beginning you bypass the flaws because you're all wrapped up in getting to know eachother....being engaged brings out alot of feelings and sometimes it easier to run than to work it thru

Went through something similiar in the beginning as well...SO overwhelming!!! It will work out!

FH and I are going through the same thing. I think its stress.Let him cool off and vent his frustrations and fears. He is probably overwhelmed. Was he married before?

FH and I decided to sit down one day and just have a quiet dinner to discuss the wedding. One suggestion is to ask him whether he wants to call off the wedding because he doesn't want to get married AT ALL, or because he just doesn't want a huge affair that involves catering halls, photographers, flowers, DJ's, etc.

You can still get married but skip the wedding event. FH keeps saying that if I called off the entire wedding and just agreed to go to City Hall for a license, he would be perfectly content.

However if your FH says he has doubts about the marriage itself, it may be best to talk things out and ask him what his expectations are once he is married. Either way, lots of prayers...men are very much commitment phobes at heart and some men need more convincing than others!!

I'm so sorry you're going through this. FH and I were in the same boat the past few weeks... I really thought we were calling it off, but something changed this week.

Just try talking about it. listen to each other and try and work it out.

totally normal..happened to me too (I was the one doubting). We also had fighting due to wedding planning stress.

You know I am here if you need anything...honestly, FH and I have been fighting like cats and dogs lately, I think the closer you get to the wedding the worse it is...its a lot of stress. You two need to sit down and have a long talk.

You're in my prayers...but I think it will all work out.

If you need to get out and go for a cocktail (or 2), let me know!! God only knows what FH and I went through this past summer.

i totally know what your feeling right now. i have going through this for the past 3 weeks. i hope everything works out for u. take some time away from planning and just the couple u were before u got engaged. that has been helping us a lot although he is still nervous about july 10. my fh denies having cold feet but i believe that is all it could be. i wish he would make up his mind since invites need to be ordered!

if u need to cry to someone u can always come to me because i am still crying!
